PC Field Technician
PC Field Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service and customer support during field visits or dispatches, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate workflow according to scheduled appointments, managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks efficiently.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems accurately and determine appropriate solutions to restore functionality.
- Generate timely and detailed service reports to document work performed and facilitate communication with stakeholders.
- Document processes and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in service delivery.
- Safely operate a vehicle and utilize field automation systems to optimize productivity and safety.
- Adhere to all company field procedures and protocols to maintain compliance and uphold standards of service excellence.
- Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organization to enhance collective knowledge and effectiveness.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate recommendations and briefings to address their needs effectively.
- Cultivate positive relationships with customers, fostering trust and satisfaction with the services provided.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field service, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment effectively.
- Proficiency in English literacy to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
- Flexibility to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing work schedules to accommodate customer needs.
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications to support field service activities.
- A+ certification is preferred to validate technical competency in PC hardware and software.
- Associates degree or technical degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
